Samantha Goodin, MS, LPCA, CCTP

Hi, I’m Samantha. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and EMDR-trained therapist. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2025, and I’m passionate about creating a space where people feel safe, understood, and comfortable being their authentic selves.

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I work with teens and adults who may be experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, grief, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next. I believe your experiences have meaning, and that understanding those experiences can help us better understand the patterns, emotions, and challenges you’re facing today.

I am trauma-informed and draw from approaches including EMDR, attachment-based, person-centered, cognitive behavioral, relational, and somatic therapies. I am also IFS-informed and believe in tailoring therapy to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and pace. My goal is never to rush your process, but to walk alongside you as we work toward greater self-understanding, emotional balance, and meaningful change.

I truly believe that reaching out for therapy is an act of courage. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here to meet you there with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment.
